Today, I realized that I have completely fallen for this incredible guy, and that I'm really looking forward to where our relationship will take us. He just informed me that he will be doing jail time following his court date on Tuesday. FML

Today, I figured out my boyfriend gets out of jail in less than six months. First off, I have a boyfriend in jail. Second, I also realized I'd much prefer he stay in than get out. FML
Today, for the first time ever, my boyfriend of one year told me he loved me. He was calling me by collect call from the county jail. FML
Today, I got to drop off my boyfriend at his newest place of residence: jail. FML
Today, I found out my girlfriend of four years is legally married to a man in prison. He gets out next week. FML
Today, I got married to the man I love even though my whole family told me not to marry him. He got into a drunken fight at our wedding and is now in jail. He apparently won't be getting out any time soon due to charges I didn't know about. FML
Today, my fiancé called me as I was clocking out. I thought he was going to tell me that he was waiting outside. Instead, he told me that he's getting arrested and needs me to call his mom for him. FML
Today, I found out the girl I've been fooling around with for two weeks has a boyfriend, who is in jail, and is a member of the Aryan Brotherhood. FML
Today, I accepted that I've fallen in love with someone completely amazing… but they live over 3000 miles away. FML
Today, I realized I'm trapped. I might be heading into an abusive relationship that I won't be able to escape, but I can't leave because then I'd break his heart and I love him too much for that. FML
Today, I had to go get my fiancé's car so it wouldn't get impounded after he was arrested at 12 a.m. and charged with a felony. I just got out of prison in March, and we get married next week. FML

The same thing happened to me about a month and a half after meeting the father of my child and, he's out now and everything is fine, our baby girl is due in less than a month

Does Michigan allow conjugal visits? Speaking of Michigan...wtf is going on there? Seems like 2/3 of the FML's lately are coming from Michigan. I know the auto industry has gone to hell and Detroit is about the most ghetto city in America but come on Michiganers get your shit together and stop having so such FML worthy lives!

Everyone makes mistakes. Jail time isn't really that bad to be honest. It's the prison time that make a difference.

this hits home so much! i just got back together with the love of my life. i too have court on tuesday, and i will most likely have to serve jail time up to a year. i hope he waits for me! stick it out for him. it's not so bad. think how he feels! ive been crying nonstop for the past week. i cant believe this was posted today.

You sound as bad as my best friend. She picked a guy who was on house arrest, was an alcoholic (think a case of beer a day at least) and refused to have sex with a condom. When she told me the guy dumped her I was speechless! Wow!

you know what. I'm dating a guy in Wisconsin. who just informed me of him going to jail. He's waiting for his sentence too on Tuesday. Weird... or is it the same guy? His birthday is on Sunday. It's funny because i'm just not figuring out all his lies. So, it'd be a good thing if you contacted me.
