Today, I overheard my mother-in-law and sister-in-law over the baby monitor. They were talking about how much better off my daughter would be if I were to die. FML
Today, I overheard my in-laws talking about me. It started off with light insults and ended with, "People like her are the reason murder ain't always wrong". FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because she heard me say "love you" on the phone. I was talking to my mom. FML
Today, my mom told me I'm the reason she's going to kill herself one day. FML
Today, at work, I misheard a customer telling me a story. To be polite, I did a slight laugh and nodded my head. She actually told me her mum had died. FML
Today, my mom came home heavily drunk. As I was taking care of her, she told me all about how I was a mistake. That didn't hurt nearly as much as when she told me she wishes I'd died during her pregnancy. FML
Today, during a text conversation with a girl I've been trying to get with, she complained about how crummy of a day she was having. I told her it couldn't be as bad as she thought, and she would probably get it over it soon. Then she told me she had found out her cousin had been murdered. FML
Today, I was pestering a co-worker, so she jokingly stated "I'll bury you!" and I replied "I'll bury your mom!". Her moms funeral was last week. FML
Today, my mom came over to me and whispered something in my ear. I didn't hear it and assumed it was a joke, so I started laughing. Turns out my aunt died. FML
Today, during my father's funeral, I heard my mother-in-law mutter, "No loss there. Lazy cunt." FML

shame on everyone who is so damn judgemental. now if she told her bf that she was glad she was dead- that'd be pretty messed up. but he overheard her saying it to one of her friends, so OP can get over it. maybe next time he shouldn't be listening in on his gf conversations to her friends.

whatever. don't tell us if you overheard someone mentioning your dead mothers name, you wouldn't stop for a moment to hear what they were saying. it's human nature to be inquisitive. and thankgod op did. now he knows what he's dealing with.

There is an obvious solution to this: kill her mom and then get on the phone while she's crying and repeat exactly what she said to your friend. You get your revenge and your girlfriend learns a valuable life lesson. Everyone wins! Well, except maybe for your girlfriend's mom.
