Today, I had a date with a girl I've liked for a while. We went out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. I was obviously going to pay, but when the bill came I realized I'd forgotten my wallet. When I told her, she thought I was a cheap liar and now she won't answer my calls. FML
Today, the girl I’ve had a crush on for months told me she scored a Tinder date and she’s so excited to go out with him. Just last week, I worked up the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend and she told me she doesn’t want a relationship, and “doesn’t believe in love anymore.” FML
Today, I was introduced to the girl my current boyfriend went out with while dating me. FML

On the bright side, you knew her intentions from the start. We meet different people all the time, and not all of them are angels. That's just life. Your friends definitely didn't make the best choice, but it's not the end of the world really.
