Today, I decided it was time to have "the talk" with my daughter, after I found a thong in the washing machine. She denied it was hers and pointed out how it was too big to fit her. I ended up having a very different talk with my son. FML

Today, while cleaning around the house, I found a black bra that wasn’t mine. I confronted my husband about it, which turned into a massive fight. It turned out that the bra actually belonged to my son’s girlfriend I didn’t know he had. FML
Today, I overheard my 11-year-old son giving my 8-year-old daughter the sex talk. FML
Today, a woman and her daughter came into the store I work at. The girl placed a pair of underpants on the counter, and confessed she had stolen them earlier. Assuming she had already heard a lecture, I simply thanked her for bringing them back. Her mom yelled at me for not yelling at her. FML
Today, I found a pair of women's underwear in the laundry that wasn't mine. I confronted my boyfriend about it. They were his. FML
Today, I walked in on my mom changing. She was trying on a thong my boyfriend bought me for Valentine's Day. It looks better on her. FML
Today, I found out where all my missing panties have gone, when my 12-year-old daughter was caught selling them to the boys at school. FML
Today, while at my boyfriend's house waiting for him to shower, his mother slams a pair of underwear on the table and tells me that if she ever finds something like that in her son's room again, she is forbidding him from seeing me. The underwear isn't mine. FML
Today, I was folding the laundry. At one point, I had to take a moment to figure out whether a pair of underwear was mine or my mothers. I'm 18. She is 56. Enough said. FML

If the guy wants to wear a thong, he can wear a thong. There are people of whatever gender he is into that would be ecstatic that he would wear them. (Also, gonna point of the double standard here- it's considered 'sexy' or 'acceptable' for a girl to wear boxers, but if a boy decides to wear panties, people say it is 'wrong.' If a man want to wear bikini underwear, thongs, or hipster underwear, he should damn well be able to do so. It is a piece of cloth, and it covers as much on a bloke as it does on a lass.) Unless he is walking around in public or around the house in nothing but the thong, it isn't a big deal. If he is walking around in just the underwear, inform him that the house has a "pants minimum" rule and enforce said rule. But since said thong was found not on said son's body, I do not think that is an issue here.
