Today, my little sister thought it'd be cool to pierce my nose while I was asleep. FML
Today, I got my eyebrow pierced. When I got home to show my family, my little sister said, "That's so fake!" and tore it off my face. FML
Today, I got my daughter's school pictures. Instead of smiling, she did the duck face. She's 6. FML
Today, I found out my little sister took a picture of me taking a shit and showed it to her friends. FML
Today, my sister gave me a makeover. I protested, but she insisted it'd look great. After an eternity of eyebrow plucking, she handed me the mirror. I now have extremely badly-drawn sharpie eyebrows. FML
Today, my mom took a picture of me. All she could say about the picture was, "At least your sister is pretty." FML
Today, I spontaneously got my ear pierced. By spontaneously, I mean my 12-year-old sister stabbed one of her earrings into my ear while I was sleeping. She claimed the freckle on my earlobe looks "exactly the same" as the hole from her ear piercing. FML
Today, I had to explain to my 18-year-old daughter why she can't pull a duck face pose for her driver's license. She still doesn't believe me. FML
Today, I found a notebook my 12-year-old sister had been doodling in. Turns out the "doodles" were poems full of obscenities and descriptions of how she wanted to hurt herself. When I showed it to my mom, she accused me of writing the notebook myself to frame my sister. FML
Today, I was having lunch with my sister and my mother. While my mom was busy ordering food, my sister said to me, "Look at this!" then contorted her face so that she had a double chin. My mother looked over and said to her, "Stop making fun of your sister!" FML

Preteen girls do stupid things in the hope of seeming cool as they find themselves... Seems like something I would have done at that age, yet wouldn't be caught dead doing now! I'm sure she will grow out of it... Give her time.

wow, I can't believe this post is even here.. and people are over analyzing the crap over a girl having fun taking a selfie! As the father of two young adult children. I say there is nothing wrong with this and let her express herself however she desires.. My God you people are making too much of this.. and this whole damned post should be removed. oh and before you rip into me about my kids.. they are perfectly normal kids with no tatoos but my 23 yr old son did get an eye brow piercing.. Oh well
