Today, I called my fiancé just to tell him how much I love him, as a sweet gesture. He yelled at me for interrupting his video game and blamed my "neediness" on the fact that I'm menstruating. FML

Today, I was on my period, so I felt a little emotional, and asked my boyfriend for some attention. He said he needed ten minutes to finish his game with his friend. I laid down on the floor and started crying hysterically. He broke up with me and left. FML
Today, my fiancé threatened to leave me for "bleeding too damn much." FML
Today, I was cuddling with my boyfriend after a fight. I told him the reason I was so irritable is because I'm on my period. He yelped in disgust and nearly fell out of bed. Good to know I'm dating a man-child. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I loved him. His response? "Is that why you have been so clingy and annoying lately?" FML
Today, I called my boyfriend and asked if he wanted to come watch a movie. He seemed eager, until I said I needed the company because my period had started. He then went dead silent, waited a few seconds before starting to fake-snore, then hung up on me. FML
Today, my boyfriend clearly stated that I was "useless" when on my period. FML
Thanks for the support
Today, I came home upset about the sexism in my work place. I just wanted to be alone, but my husband insisted we talk about it. I noticed he kept looking over and one of his hands was moving. He was playing video games the entire time I was spilling my guts. FML
Today, after my boyfriend ignored me for hours playing video games, he gave me some attention for a little bit. When I tried to run my fingers through his hair, I missed and punched him in the face. FML
Today, my boyfriend yelled at me from the other room for washing the dishes "too loudly". FML
Today, while I was at my boyfriend's house, I got my period. About an hour after I told him, he impatiently said, "Is it over yet?" FML

So next time he tries to be frisky and interrupts your activities you yell at him and blame his "neediness" on the fact that he is hard. FYL.

You need to have a serious talk now about his douchebag behavior or do not marry him because you don't deserve that.

I too , used to spazz on my ex boyfriend , for asking me in the middle of a COD game , (during 24-0 kd game True Story Bro) , whether I wanted Coconut or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream , when everyone knows DAMN well , I like Cookie Dough ... YDI :) in this generation a true girlfriend should know already how their man should get during a video game .

Bloody hell, OP, this suggests the flow of affection in your relationship is cramping your style. I think it's time to tampon your drip of a BF, pull his string, and flush him and the relationship. Your Aunt Flo wouldn't want you to drain yourself for this clottish red-neck!! Go, take a nap. Kin you imagine a better relationship that this? I sure hope so!

Ok, so you MIGHT be #2 in his life. Better find out where you rank before you marry that asshole.

Do yourself a favor and bid him adieu.

If you knew he was with his friends then yeah YDI. Everybody needs space to chill with their friends and it is needy and clingy to call just to say I love you. Try a text. Then he can respond when able.

Honestly this is why I felt like a needy chick forever... because of a string of asshats like this guy. Lemme tell you something, when you finally find a guy who loves you, that kind of behaviour will never been seen as needy. He sounds like he's emotionally unavailable... it's him, not you. Find the strength and leave him for your own mental and emotional health.

Congratulations but no need to insult those who made you feel like what, I would guess, you essentially were. And likely are.

And you're gonna marry this prick?

Don't come back whining FMLs at us once you're on the other side of the wedding date. They don't get better once they're married, OP. I'm not saying dump him for one douchey moment. I'm saying think long and hard if it WAS just one, and if not...

Ehhh...you do kind of sound needy. I'm a girl and if my husband called just to tell me how much he loved me I'd be all "congrats???" The point is, he wouldn't. He knows how I appreciate receiving affection and since he loves me, does his best to express his that way. I reciprocate. I'm not saying the fiancé was right to respond in such a mean way to someone he thinks he loves enough to marry, but maybe you should consider whether the two of you really click. If you are serious about having a long, fulfilling relationship, I suggest talking about this. If either of you are unwilling, I strongly suggest calling off the wedding.

Because the large majority of FML users are kids with ne'er a lick of sense. But thanks :)
