Today, excited that I finally got a place of my own, I invited my boyfriend over for a sexy sleep over. He told me his mom doesn't want him sleeping over. He's 21 years old. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I learned that my 29-year-old boyfriend won't stay the night at my house because he lives at home with his parents and doesn't want to have "the discussion" with his mom about me. FML
Cougartown
Today, my boyfriend snuck out of my room so he could have sex with my mom in the next room. FML
Today, my boyfriend said that we can "maybe have sleepovers" at his house when he FINALLY moves out. He's 24, and we've been dating for 6 years. FML
Today, the guy I've been seeing for a few months told me he couldn't stay overnight because his mom would yell at him for not coming home. We're both 30 and I didn't know he still lived at home. FML
Today, I woke up next to my girlfriend. I was woken up by my mother breaking into my house to tell me I need to get ready for work. Then she got mad that I had a girl over. I'm 20. FML
It's probably for the best
Today, my boyfriend couldn't go on a date with me because his mom said no. He's 23. FML
Today, I had to hide in the closet all morning because my 22-year-old boyfriend didn't want to admit to his parents that he had his girlfriend stay the night. FML
Mommy issue
Today, my 21-year-old girlfriend finally got the courage to tell her mom that she wanted to move in with me. It turns out she was right to be afraid; during the talk, her mother yelled at us, calling her a slut and saying she was too young to be "shacking up with some guy." FML
Quiet please
Today, my boyfriend finally moved out from his parents' house to his friend's flat. Excited that I wouldn't have to be so silent when we had sex anymore, I went over to spend the night. His bedroom is right next to his friend's 4-year-old daughter's room. FML
Bigmouth strikes again
Today, my boyfriend came over. My mom told him the story about the time she caught me having sex with my ex-boyfriend. My ex is his best friend. FML

Looks like you got yourself a momma's boy OP. just go over to his house often and eat dinner with the family and she will eventually warm up to you and let him go over there. Good luck OP.

When I was 18 I was able to do whatever I wanted to do. My mother never stopped me from going to my boyfriends house because she trusted me.

It's okay that he respects what his mother wants if he still lives under her roof. However, she needs to understand that if he was to do anything she doesn't agree with, her son would still do it at another moment, not just at night.

Maybe your mom and his mom can set up a play date. You can have cookies and juice for snack time!

I live on my own during the year while attending school, but when summer comes around I'm back at home. During the year i can do whatever I please- when I'm back at home with my mom it's her rules. I'm 21.

I have been married to a mamas boy and trust me I could do no right. Got divorced and now I'm with another guy I've allowed to move in with me and my kids and he's also a mamas boys, in the process of getting rid of him after 3 years... Be careful their not good husbands

No disrespect, but perhaps your judgement of men is not so good. Being a momma's boy doesn't automatically make you a bad husband.

I am 21 and live at home. Not far from the university where I go to school. My mother has given me the opportunity of living at home while I'm still in school. My boyfriend is 24 and in the same situation while he is in school. My parents allow him to stay over at my house if we are in separate beds, their house = their rules. I can't argue as I'm living there free. We just don't talk about when I stay at his house. At first it was a no from my parents but eventually we just didn't talk about it. If I said I was staying there, that's it. His family's house = his family's rules.
