Today, after having bought my daughter a complete set of new school clothes, she threw a tantrum and refused to wear them. I told her she could either wear them, or go to school naked. She made if half-way down the street in the nude before I caught up and dragged her back inside. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my 6-year-old daughter threw a tantrum in the middle of a store, all because I wouldn't buy her a pushup bra. FML
All my fault
Today, I went clothes shopping. I took my little daughter into the dressing room while I tried some clothes on. She somehow managed to open the door while I was changing. A lady outside then bitched me out for "exposing" myself to her kids. FML
Fashionista
Today, my mother had a full-on hissy fit because of the clothes I was wearing. Not because she thought they were inappropriate, but because I was "stealing her look." FML
Temper tantrum
Today, the cops were called to my apartment because my daughter had a temper tantrum while I was at work. She was naked when they were there. FML
The worst
Today, the bus came to pick up my daughter to take her to kindergarten. When it honked, I opened the door for her to let her run out to it. Halfway there, she tripped and started crying. I couldn't run out because I was still in my underwear. Now her bus thinks I'm the worst mom ever. FML
Today, my mother threatened me if I keep wearing yoga pants to school, she's going to have my dad pick me up in a speedo. FML
Today, my mom yelled at me for going through her closet for some warmer clothes. She had a rant about taking her clothes without her permission, all while wearing a pair of my boots and one of my sweaters. FML
Today, after it appeared my daughter was throwing away any vegetables in her school lunch, I packed her all vegetables so she would have to eat at least one. Nope! She threw them out and complained to school that "mommy doesn't feed" her. I got a call from the school. FML
Today, I learned from my daughter's teacher that she has been wearing the same shirt for the past few weeks, ever since we had a fight about how I don't pay attention to her. FML
Today, I got into a huge fight with a girl at school. My mom and dad decided to punish me by letting my three older brothers pick out my wardrobe for the next week. FML

I love it when kids decide to take parents up on their ill-conceived threats...here's a tip for any parents reading this...NEVER give a kid an option you aren't prepared to have them follow through with.

What the hell? Obviously the girl is not over 18 because the mom would NEVER buy clothes for a woman that age. Yes I said woman. What a bunch of numb nuts. Go ahead and thumb me down. I feel better just getting this off of my chest.

So did the daughter, apparently.

An 18 year old that still lives at home and depends on their mother for their well being and who also throws tantrums and walks down the street naked is hardly mature enough to be called a woman. She would be merely a silly little girl.

I think YDI if you picked out all the clothes without her. I know you were just trying to be nice but, most parents don't know what their kids want to wear. My parents know my style very well but sometimes when I go second hand shopping with my dad he picks out something he thinks I'll like but when he shows it to me I hate it,that's why my parents almost never buy anything without asking me first(Only on Christmas or my birthday when I don't tell them what I want. And I usually do). My other relatives like my grandparents and aunts buy be clothes for Christmas sometimes and I always end up giving them to my little sister, because I don't like them.

"School clothes" - so most likely uniform. Schools in the UK generally require an ugly-ass uniform in some hideous colour.

It's a school uniform, neither op or the daughter chose what to wear! The school did! The daughter should have just sucked it up and went in in her uniform, everyone else would have been wearing the same thing as her!

I hope you tore her up once you got her inside. That's what's wrong with kids today...

You have no sense of style.
