Today, after having bought my daughter a complete set of new school clothes, she threw a tantrum and refused to wear them. I told her she could either wear them, or go to school naked. She made if half-way down the street in the nude before I caught up and dragged her back inside. FML

Today, my 6-year-old daughter threw a tantrum in the middle of a store, all because I wouldn't buy her a pushup bra. FML
Today, I went clothes shopping. I took my little daughter into the dressing room while I tried some clothes on. She somehow managed to open the door while I was changing. A lady outside then bitched me out for "exposing" myself to her kids. FML
Today, my mother had a full-on hissy fit because of the clothes I was wearing. Not because she thought they were inappropriate, but because I was "stealing her look." FML
Today, the cops were called to my apartment because my daughter had a temper tantrum while I was at work. She was naked when they were there. FML
Today, the bus came to pick up my daughter to take her to kindergarten. When it honked, I opened the door for her to let her run out to it. Halfway there, she tripped and started crying. I couldn't run out because I was still in my underwear. Now her bus thinks I'm the worst mom ever. FML
Today, my mother threatened me if I keep wearing yoga pants to school, she's going to have my dad pick me up in a speedo. FML
Today, my mom yelled at me for going through her closet for some warmer clothes. She had a rant about taking her clothes without her permission, all while wearing a pair of my boots and one of my sweaters. FML
Today, after it appeared my daughter was throwing away any vegetables in her school lunch, I packed her all vegetables so she would have to eat at least one. Nope! She threw them out and complained to school that "mommy doesn't feed" her. I got a call from the school. FML
Today, I learned from my daughter's teacher that she has been wearing the same shirt for the past few weeks, ever since we had a fight about how I don't pay attention to her. FML
Today, I got into a huge fight with a girl at school. My mom and dad decided to punish me by letting my three older brothers pick out my wardrobe for the next week. FML

Should have let her complete the journey- she just punked you. After years of taunting she would be the eternal good girl. Now she know if she does some arse thing you will cave cause your obviously are going to buy new clothes!

YDI, don't make threats that you won't follow through with. The way I see it is you can make a threat with no intention of going through with it, but if they call you on it you need to take the "you made me do this" attitude. Seriously, anyone who makes empty threats deserves what they get. I'm just hoping that your daughter is old enough for this to be hot.

Ummmm....how ugly are the clothes?! If your daughter is willing to go out in public nude thats pretty bad.....one thing my grandma ways did was go shopping with us so that wouldnt happen

My uniforms were alright by UK standards, and they were still hideous and itchy! If they're at a school with some of the combinations I've seen (maroon jumpers and brown/mustard yellow plaid skirts, for example)... yikes.

To all those saying the clothes she bought must be ugly, this FML is from the UK, where school uniforms (clothes that the school specifically picks) are compulsory. In school, you're not allowed to wear plain clothes unless it's a non-uniform day (usually a charity event). You can wear plain clothes in College and University, though.
