Today, after backpacking acrossing Europe for a month, I picked up my dog from the doghouse. No one will listen to me or acknowledge the fact that he's now missing two toes. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Bad boy
Today, I got home only to discover my dog was missing. After spending ages roaming the freezing streets calling his name, I returned to find him stuck behind the couch with my chewed-up new shoes in his muzzle. FML
Today I adopted a dog. He ran away the same day. FML
Today, I bought a dog to make me feel less lonely. He ran away. FML
Today, my dog ran away. Luckily my neighbors caught him before he got too far. Now they won't give him back because they think I did something to him to make him want to run away. FML
Today, while I was on a field trip with my son, my husband decided to get rid of our dog without asking anyone. Now I get to pick up the pieces of a broken heart, and he thinks he did nothing wrong. FML
Today, my boyfriend finally let me take his dog on a walk, after two years of not trusting me to keep her safe. During the walk, a car drove by, causing her to run after it and pulling the leash out of my hand. Five hours later, and I still can't find her. FML
Today, I got a call about my dog who went missing a week ago. The guy who called said "We have your dog, but you aren't getting her back." Then he hung up. FML
Adopt, don't shop
Today, I went to pick up my dog from a friend's place since she agreed to watch him while I went out of state for Spring Break. I arrived at her apartment. She’s gone and the apartment was vacated. She won’t answer her phone or texts, and vanished from all social media. I’m still making payments on the dog. FML
Today, my dog ran away. I looked for him for 5 hours, and when I came back home, he was waiting for me at the door. FML
Today, I opened my car door on reaching destination and my dog escaped. I never found him. My destination was the vet's office to get him micro-chipped. FML

You better sue the **** out of that business.

You have every right to sue if they say that is the way the dog came to them and you don't have a picture find his medical records stating the conditions of you dog prior and after the place he stayed

I'd never leave my dog in a place I didn't know... Should have left him with someone you trusted if you could have, not with strangers...

Not everyone have the priveledge of having a loving friend/ parents to care for your dog if you are away for a while..

True, but a month seems kinda long to leave a pet with strangers...

Other then the toes is he ok? Not saying there is a bright side or it could be worse, cause I always hate hearing that when I have the right to be pissed or upset, but of he is doing ok otherwise, it is one less thing to worry about while you decide your course of action. Give the furr baby a big hug.

I agree. Love your husky! Mine is 3 months :-)

Tbh I'm suprised you left him in a kennel for a whole month...I don't think I'd leave a pet for more than a week...maybe two tops if I could get them to stay with a trusted friend or relative. However that in no way justifies what happened here. Truly f your dogs life, poor thing..

How can nobody acknowledge two toes missing? Imagine your toes are missing... I wouldn't be able to walk straight Anyway I don't want to do this.. But anyone noticed backpacking 'acrossing'?
