Today, my boss called me into his office. He then fired me. Upset, I asked him, "Well, who's gonna replace me?" His answer was, "I don't know and don't care. Everyone who works here hates you. Now go away." FML

Today, my boss called me into his office. After yelling and firing me, his assistant comes in telling him he had mistaken me for someone else. He did not give me my job back, as he claimed it would make an awkward work environment. FML
Today, my boss fired me. I still can't really explain where the slap I gave him for it came from, though. FML
Today, my boss came into the office asked how I was doing and seemed totally normal and happy, then said, "I have to let you go. I heard some bad things about you." He wouldn't tell me what he heard, or from whom. FML
Today, I was fired from my job. My boss turned to everyone and said, "Allow me to escort this trash out of the office." Everyone cheered. FML
Today, my boss called me and asked why I haven't been showing up to work. I didn't show up because he fired me last week over the phone. Then he fired me again for not showing up to work. FML
Today, my boss found out I had applied for a much better paying job. He told me I'd do a better job and make more money there. Then he fired me. FML
Today, my boss fired me because I corrected him after he misspoke during a meeting. FML
Today, I received a phone call from my old boss asking me why I wasn't at work, to which I responded, "Because you fired me yesterday." He didn't say anything, and hung up. FML
Today, my boss finally pronounced my name correctly. My name was then followed by the words, "You're fired." FML
Today, my boss fired me by locking me out of my workplace after I went out to throw out the trash. FML

welllll.....if everyone hated you im sure they have a reason....sooo i guess at your next job try not to get people to not like you. but on the other hand i think thats a pretty ****** up reason to fire someone just cuz ppl dont like em...i dont find that very professional. no matter where you work, theres always gonna be someone who doesnt like you im sure but it shouldnt effect your work status.

I can't really say "FYL" or "YDI" on this one without more info. I mean, if you were an asshole to everyone then YDI, but if you were a geniuinely nice guy and got your work done etc and people just hated you for getting stuff done then FYL There's just no way to really respond to this with what's been given.
