Today, my boyfriend sent me so many nice texts that he made me fall in love with him that little bit more. It turns out he was sweetening me up before telling me he cheated on me the night before. FML

Today, I sent my boyfriend a sweet text message, since he recently complained that I'm rarely romantic. Instead of being happy, he decided that since it's so out of character for me, I must be cheating on him and must have only sent it out of guilt. FML
Today, my boyfriend wrote me a love letter saying about how much he cares for me, how he'd die for me and how he wants to spend his life with me. What really took my breath away was the confession at the end about how he "accidentally" cheated on me with my best friend. FML
Today, I received a bouquet of flowers from my boyfriend, which is something he's never done before. Unfortunately, this was his way of apologizing for cheating on me. FML
Today, by pure chance, I found the website where my boyfriend has been getting all the cute, "original" romantic texts he sends me, including the one that made me fall in love with him to begin with. FML
Today, I confronted my boyfriend after he received a text with a bunch of hearts on it. After arguing, turns out it was from me. FML
Today, I received a beautiful, heart-felt text from my boyfriend detailing all the ways he loved me. He probably should have emphasized just how big his heart is though because he sent the text to three other women too. Thank you, group messaging. FML
Today, I went through my boyfriend’s emails and found out that he cheated on me the day before he asked me to move in with him. FML
Today, my boyfriend brought me home flowers and candy for the first time in our one-year relationship. Thinking he was going to finally propose, I got excited. I asked why he was being so sweet, and he responded with, "I thought you'd take the breakup better this way." FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend purposely makes me cry because it makes him feel special. FML
Today, my boyfriend of three years sent me several flowers and chocolate boxes to my office. It ends up that he cheated on me with my sister and tried to break the news to me after all the presents he sent. I thought he actually remembered our anniversary this year. FML

Well, he didn't break it to you in song, in front of 100 other people, that's a start. But the sweetening deal makes him seem a little cowardly, especially IF he told you he cheated by text. Anyway, here's to to hoping things shape of for you, one way or another, OP. We're here for you at least.

Hey, there's is one bright thing about this: He was honest about it and didn't try to hide it. So if my girlfriend had cheated on me romantically speaking I'd forgive her, but if it was sexual then I'd dump her (unless it was with another person born a female).

This whole "if they loved you they wouldn't have cheated" crap really pisses me off. That's a lie people tell themselves to make it easier to make a decision on whether or not to dump somebody. Here's the deal, maybe he does love her, maybe he doesn't, we don't know that and can't judge him on his feelings for her. All we can say is this: He's a dumbass for cheating, but he manned up to his mistake, hopefully because he realized how bad it was. And here's ANOTHER thing, if he didn't want to salvage the relationship, didn't love her, or whatever, why did he tell her at all? A lot more contributes to someone cheating on their significant other than just "(s)he's a douche, never loved him/her."

Sounds like the words of a former cheater yourself...it's good that you can forgive yourself for your crime against the one you "love" #95, I hope they didn't forgive you. Cheaters can burn in hell. People who violate the trust of someone they're in relationships with to satisfy their lust for what they feel is lacking with the person they are *committed* to, then feel guilty and confess later, can go eat shit.
