High hopes

Today, these cute girls approached me and asked me to take a picture of them. One girl asked me if I could send it to her because her phone had died. I was excited to have her number, but it turns out that she deleted the message after she sent the picture to herself. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

To be honest I think that was a bit more polite of her and as they didn't know you it'd be a bit odd for her to sneakily give you her number that way. I don't really see anything wrong here.

If you're enough of a creep, you can check with your service provider. Don't be enough of a creep, please.

Maybe you should have just asked for her number

what's yours ?

If you really want her number her number will be in your history so if you type in each number eventually you will find the first number of her phone number and it will be in your history and there you go

No it won't.

on gs3, even if you delete the text thread, the phone number will appear in the recently contacted on the "phone" part of your phone

I'm going to assume that by "gs3", you mean the Galaxy S3?

She did the right thing. But you could have asked her out or something.

How does wanting to protect herself from being stalked by a random person on the streets make HER the bad guy?

I'm sorry OP I would have done the same thing sometimes letting random people have your number opens the door to crazies not that you are but strangers are strangers

Strangers are just victi*cough* I mean friends you haven't met yet. *grins*

I see nothing wrong here, I would have done the same thing. She doesn't even know you and it would be weird to have some random person call you...

Hey stocker just check you phone bill

And you thought it was some sort of elaborate scheme to give you her number? If she didn't knowingly give your her number so you could text her it would have been inappropriate for you to contact her

Well... can you blame her? You're a complete stranger, I probably would've done the same thing. Even if she hadn't deleted it, it would've been kind of creepy for you to contact her when she'd never explicitly given you her number or said she wanted you to contact her
