Today, while eating at my college cafeteria, I started thinking about all the awful crap going on in my life right now, and I started sobbing. Some guy at another table started snickering at me, at which point the guy I like said, "Give her a break. If I was as fuck-ugly as her, I'd be crying too." FML

Today, I went out to eat at a restaurant. When the waitress saw me, she continously told me how beautiful and kind I was. Flattered, I just said thank you. Five minutes later, one of the ugliest girls I've ever seen in my life walked in. The waitress told her the same exact things she told me. FML

This is exactly the reason why you don't crush on anyone. Just hit it or quit it (goes for women, too!). You're only setting yourself up for failure the longer you pine away after someone who may not even realize you exist.

That is a very sad way to view relationships. Being in a relationship can be a wonderful thing, as long is it is with a mature and responsible person. Sadly, you date and like a lot of people that just work out. It will hurt, but when you find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, it is makes it all worth it.
