Today, my daughter's school was putting on a fashion show for charity and all the kids were supposed to ask their mothers to be in it. I asked my daughter about it and she said, "Well, I was going to ask you, but they said to only "ask all of your beautiful mommies." FML

Today, our little family business was asked to do a presentation at my daughter's school. When we got there and I saw her' I waved to her happily but she totally blanked me, plus my super strict mom smacked me on the back of the head for embarrassing her by not acting professionally while I was technically working. FML

Today, I went to the store with my 4-year-old daughter. While I was trying to change into tight jeans, which weren't completely on, my daughter opened the curtain and yelled, "It's the Mommy Show!" Everyone there heard her and saw me. FML

Today, I went to the mall with two friends. A modelling scout approached us and asked both of my friends if they were interested in modelling. When the scout finally noticed me, she asked if I was their mom. We're all the same age. FML

One, as #7 said, stories like these are trite. Second, this sounds like a reflection of your parenting. Shouldn't your daughter know by now not to say things that may hurt somebody's feelings?

#7- Dude, statements like these hurt even when coming from a little kid. Your child just called you ugly. It sucks. It may not be original, but kids can be assholes and this one certainly is.
