Today, my daughter's school was putting on a fashion show for charity and all the kids were supposed to ask their mothers to be in it. I asked my daughter about it and she said, "Well, I was going to ask you, but they said to only "ask all of your beautiful mommies." FML

When we got there and I saw her' I waved to her happily but she totally blanked me, plus my super strict mom smacked me on the back of the head for embarrassing her by not acting professionally while I was technically working. Don't worry about it. All kids go through these phases. I used to refuse to tell my father I loved him and then yell how much I hated him when I was little. Now, he is one of my best friends. Knowing that I was such a mean child still tears me up inside some time. Trust me, you are beautiful and she'll see it soon enough.
