My family tried doing that one time. But, I have a car, so when I went to eat a "salad" I ate fried chicken(:

I think what the op is trying to get across is not that vegetarian food is gross but the fact that their dad is making the whole family have a vegetarian meal instead of just the step-mom eating a vegetarian meal! I would cook my own meat and put it on my plate just to piss her off!

Why is this a problem? My grandmother has done this for years. There tend to be 20 people or more at our christmas dinner and 4 of us are vegetarian, so they outnumber us considerably, but we still eat a vegetarian dinner. No one complains, why? Because we don't just eat vegetables and you can flavour vegetarian food to taste like beef, or chicken, if need be (it's REALLY easy to do without using meat).
