Today, it was Homecoming. During the dance, I saw this mentally handicapped guy ask this pretty girl to dance. She said no. So I went over to him and asked him to dance. He replied that he only wanted to dance with "pretty girls" and I was not one. FML

D'awww, at least you're nice. Don't worry about him, he probably didn't know what he was saying, really. If he is mentally retarded you shouldn't take it to heart.

This PC nonsense is ridiculous. Mental retardation is the clinical and legal term for the disorder. Just because some people use the term as an insult doesn't mean that everyone who uses it is being insulting.

Well after all he's mentally retarded and apparently an asshole too, don't take what he said seriously.

Clearly he is mentally disabled so why fret on what you think when he doesn't.

number 8 you are sick and really need to realize that a mentally retarded person is a person and has feelings OP you didn't deserve it you did something extremely kind, but your life doesn't suck because he didn't think you were pretty, maybe his pretty is defferent than yours that's his opinion

Nobody should have to take that kind of crap from anybody even if they are retarded. If he can hurt someone else's feelings than he can take getting his own feelings hurt.

Not always true. A lot of the time, some mentally retarded people don't think of what they say as insulting. In their head, they said nothing wrong, just what they were thinking. And besides, two wrongs don't make a right.
