Today, I was talking to my girlfriend on Facebook. She's in the forces, and it was her birthday. I asked her if she liked the flowers I sent her. She thanked me, then asked if she could remove our relationship status. When I asked why, she said, "It's not like we're really going out anymore." FML

That sucks, dude. Too bad we live in a time where there are people who take something like Facebook way to seriously. Chances are she's already on to the next poor bastard, so try to look at the bright side - she's probably a liar and you're better off without her.

If that's the birthday present she wants, then why not? It's not like she needs your permission to remove the status anyway (quite silly, isn't she). The last I knew, getting dumped did not signify the apocalypse either. You can find yourself a new girlfriend, you know.
