It sounds like he worded his phrase wrong. He probably meant that he doesnt care if you are a 10 or whatever but that he loves you for who you are. Grow up, stop fishing for compliments and be happy you have someone who loves you for your personality. Thats rare enough as it is.

Although this may sound mean, this tells you that he loves you for who you are, not who you look on the outside. This should not be an FML. You should appreciate the fact that you're lucky to have a guy like him, rather than some other random asshat out there.
