Today, I was having dinner with my boyfriend. We'd just got our food when my dad walks in, comes up to our table and says, "I didn't say you could leave, you're too young to be dating him", then drags me out of the restaurant. We are both 15, and it was my first date. FML

not necessarily you can be with that person and not go on dates. you can meet and hangout a few times. most of my girlfriends I haven't gone on dates with lol.

@ #8 #12 I think what the OP is trying to say is that this is their first time going out together but they've been talking on the phone, the see each other in school,and probably hang out and school events together. Remember she is only fifteen. So, its very likely that this was a strictly in-school relationship first. Think people think.

I'm 15 and have been with a guy almost 2 years older than me coming up on 14 months.. maybe you shouldve let your dad meet him first

well, did you check with your parents first if you were allowed to go on a date with him? If not, YDI. You're 15, you're still a kid, you're still their responsibility and it's their decision whether you're allowed out or not.
