Today, I thought my hamster might be lonely, so I went to the pet shop and bought a new one to keep him company. The new hamster killed the old one. FML

just a word to the wise unless you buy the hamsters together and from the same litter you shouldn't put them together especially if they have been alone for a while

Omg! this almost happened to me when i was 14! I only wanted to buy my hamster a friend and then his friend tried to kill him! My dad made me keep them in the same cage. he thought they would 'establish dominance'. I took the new one out. He lived in a tote with wood shavings and food and what not for a week til I could go buy another cage!

Then you should have looked up the information on hamsters so you know that they are solitary creatures and cannot get along. You obviously don't deserve to have a pet.
