It sucks that he's not very romantic for the most part. However feeling uncomfortable when he is makes 0 ******* SENSE. I would think that you would cherish those times. Maybe it's because you get uncomfortable when he is romantic that he doesn't do it anymore. It is a possibility. And yes " well if he had been more romantic more often then this wouldn't have happened" I agree with you commenters that I just made up but there are so many unknown factors related to this situation. Basically I think this broad is crazy

The whole point is: Do you want him to be romantic more often so it doesn't feel odd when he does, or do you want him to stop it altogether because you don't like it when he does? I know I don't like any sort of mushy romantism, but there are many girls who love it. So it's hard to tell if OP just feel odd because the "cute" behavior is not the usual or if if she doesn't like that at all.
