Today, I overdrew my account and ended up paying an extra 35 bucks for a 1.99 item. It was an application on the iPhone that is supposed to help me keep track of my money. FML

Well, if you didn't have $1.99 in your account - you should probably skip buying apps on the iPhone and do things the old fashioned way. I mean, honestly, it doesn't sound like you have much money to keep track of anyway so I think a notebook and a pen would probably do the trick (or use that Notes app and the calculator on the phone)!

It sucks when that happens, but if you don't do it a lot you can usually call up your bank and be nice and respectful and ask them to reverse the charge. The same thing happened to me on a couple iTunes songs.

#57 You sir, are funnier than anything else I've read on this site today.

I hate those overdraft fees and all the other fees banks charge you. Their just robbing you blind

I did the same thing only not on an iphone application only mine was TWO items (therefore they took $70) One item was 2.17 the other was 6 dollars. the only reason i overdrafted to begin with was because my dad had used my card without my permission for a dating website

Oh and on top of that, I just saw this yesterday for the first time and havent had a chance to go to the bank yet, and they charged me again today for not having payed my fees soon enough. I am now -$115 in my account for overdrawing my account less than $10.

Don't worry. Call your bank, talk to the manager and have them reverse the overdraft fee. If you are polite they will do it.
