Today, I colored my hair. It was supposed to turn out blonde, but it became more a mix of red and brown and blonde patches. When I tried coloring everything back, a green tint was added. My hair is at the moment red, brown, blonde and green. FML

professionals are expensive. I dye my own hair too. and in fact tried to dye my hair blonde last week. it didn't work because my hair was too dark already, luckily mine just turned light brown. try washing your hair with dish washing soap, i've heard it will strip your hair color.

I dye my own hair, and it isn't that hard. Obviously you did not read the box, or check to make sure the product was compatible with your hair. YDI

For everyone saying that she dyed her hair... You DYE clothes, you COLOR hair. >.< YDI for coloring your hair out of a box. Dumbest thing you can do to your hair. Good job destroying it. Now, you'll have to pay twice as much to get a PROFESSIONAL to fix it. Next time, just stick to a salon. 48- You're about as dumb as OP is. Dish soap? Wow.
