You probably could have found a way to let the mouse out of the garage without killing it, like leaving a window or door open(While you were home and awake, of course), or trapping it under a bowl and moving the bowl outside and then releasing it.
Oh.. LOL! Sorry, OP! I thought you said you found a moose in your garage! xD I was just concerned with where the hell you live! Anyways, Don't feel too bad! It happens. If I saw wild mouse running around in my house, I might try to kill it too. Your son should have known to keep that sucker locked up! He also might have mentioned that he was bringing home an animal x_x
I would have got him out but not killed him, get a new one lol
Get him a new one....
You could always say it some how escaped its cage and ran off. Not that you killed it. Mr. Whiskers is deadmau-se now.
Why isn't there a button that says "Your son, his entire class, and the pet didn't deserve this and you should feel horrible"?
I agree the pet and class didn't but OP shouldn't feel bad cuz their son shoulda A) Told the ******* parent of the house & B) kept it in a cage when he wasn't watching it

Time to go get mister whiskers #2
The mouse wasn't asking for a cookie. You didn't need to kill him.
