Today, I called in to my girlfriend's favorite radio station to propose. After spending what seemed like an eternity telling her how much I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her, she took a deep breath, said, "How about no?" and hung up. FML

It's okay OP... Atleast it's not a tv station you went on, nobody seen your face when she said no

I give you props for trying to be original, OP. Dont worry, you'll find the right gal.

What a jerk! She couldn't at least let you down softly instead she was rude about it.

On the bright side, with a good wing man you could turn this story into some awesome hook-ups! There has to be hundreds of girls all over the city feeling sympathy for you now. Since you are newly single I'd say you should get out there and meet some of them!

Typically, he calls in to the radio station and the station dials out to her. You must be new to the radio world if you could not think of this scenario...

Well hopefully she will lose some listeners now they know she's and ass, I mean I get if shes not ready or whatever but she could have at least let you down in a nicer way

I don't think you understood... She does not work at the radio, he called her favorite radio who obviously called her as a surprise and put them together on live...

How are so many people getting confused about this?

I was a bit confused by it too. I hear radio call-ins by one person, but not two people who couldn't possibly have called at the exact same time. Now that it was clarified that the radio station called her while the OP was still on the air, it makes sense.

You obviously deserve better. If a guy did something like that for me, i would never let him go.

Really? Good luck with your life then...

Better for her to be honest than say yes and not mean it.

Why didn't u discuss marriage first, lots of people do it. Be like hey are u ready for marriage? Or Something like that

What a bitch, good thing you didn't marry her... I know this sounds harsh, so feel free to give me many, many thumbs down.

Those public proposals are always a bad idea. YDI
