Today, I begged my husband to take me to the ER cause my stomach hurt so bad I thought I was gonna die. He told me to go sit on the toilet and stop being a drama queen. I drove myself to the hospital just in time for my appendix to burst. I almost died because my husband was busy playing xbox. FML

Today, I went into labor and got my husband drive me to the hospital. Instead of staying by my side, he rushed back home for a World of Warcraft raid. His excuse? His friends were counting on him and they'd be pissed if he let them down. FML

Today, I rushed my wife to the ER because she was having abdominal pains. She was crying in the car and very faintly said, "If I die, our daughter goes to my sister and they get everything in my will." We later found out she was just having a bad gas problem. FML

Today, I crawled into my mom's room to tell her my stomach was in massive pain. She ended up throwing me out of the room while spraying me with Lysol. My appendix was about to burst and I needed surgery. FML

Today, I was feeling really sick when I was with my boyfriend at the park. When we were walking, I got really dizzy and collapsed. My boyfriend didn't catch me. His mom took me to the hospital. While I was being poked with needles, he was at home playing COD. FML

Today, I woke up with horrible pain in my gut. It got worse and worse, and I started vomiting from the pain. My mom said it was the flu and that I needed to "man up." It turned out to be appendicitis, and I'm now typing this from my hospital bed. FML

Today, while grocery shopping, I was having such terrible abdominal pains I could hardly walk. As I'm 8 months pregnant, I told my husband we should head home. He thought a better idea was to run through the store and hide from me, hoping to induce labor by making me chase him. FML

Today, I felt a very sharp pain, like my appendix was going to burst. After going to the doctor, I was rushed to the hospital to get tests done. The doctors later told me there's nothing wrong, I was just constipated. I went to the hospital for them to basically tell me I'm full of shit. FML

Today, my husband had heart attack symptoms on the way to his family event. We stopped, called an ambulance, and he was taken off to hospital. I called his family to update them. They still expected us to turn up. FML

She didn't marry a nerd she married a douchbag. Most nerds care about the people who they hang out with because they don't have allot of friends. While with people who consider them selves "cool" or "popular" have so many friends and people talking to them they see most of them as expendable because they can easily be replaced by another.

it's not an issue of marrying a gamer nerd. it's marrying the ones that are obsessed. I'm dating a gamer and, sure, its boring watching him play COD MW2 but I rather enjoy watching him play Bioshock, I've even tried it out myself. There's just a huge difference between the gamer being completely obsessed with the game that he forgets he has other priorities and the gamer that knows when to put the controller down. :]

I have a gamer boyfriend--heck, we're BOTH gamers--and we both know that if there is something wrong, even if it's a false alarm, to put down the controller and go to the hospital. Sounds like your husband needs to remember that video games are the same as movies and tv shows--they're entertainment. You gain absolutely nothing from them other than being entertained for a while.
