It's a rule that all stories start with "today", regardless of when they took place. I remember one that actually said "36 hours later" and still started with "today". It's just part of the format.

Now this depends on why Op needed cutting out, it must've been a bad accident to need that - if they were drunk or texting then the idiot deserves everything they got but otherwise hope they are ok ;)

4.6% of the FML voters feel that the OP deserved this. HOW, might I ask? By cursing the ambulance? Disturbing the ambulance driver? Spreading bad karma? Or how would you explain that it's the OP's fault that the ambulance was involved in an accident?

Ok so only half my story was posted. I had one accident (not my fault) wrote my car off and only had minimal bruising, then 3 days later I was passenger in another car accident (again not drivers fault) had to be cut out of car and only recieved seatbelt burns, major bruising and a deep laceration to my hand. Then the ambulance had an accident on way to hospital but luckily no further injuries sustained. I had time to post it cause I had to stay in for observation and was trying to distract myself. So for everyone saying ydi..,. I don't see how I did. To everyone else, Thankyou
