Today, my boyfriend said he couldn't come to my grandfather's funeral because he was at his cottage and couldn't make it. Later that day, when driving home from the graveyard I saw him walking down the street, with another girl. FML

Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because I didn't call her in the last few days. I tried to explain to her that I was out at my grandfather's house in a remote place with no cell service to stand by him on his death bed. She thought I was making excuses and called me a lying bastard. FML

Hey to the OP, be glad that your boyfriend wanted to spare your feelings. He was probably gonna dump you that day anyway, so at least he gave you space. NOT. I'm just being sarcastic. What an asshole. The matter was life and death, and he chose sex. I'm sorry you had to deal with your grandma and your **** wad boyfriend on the same day. :(

My boyfriend pulled that one on me. Instead of comforting me when I was at my grandmother's funeral, he decided to go sleep with a some little **** who left him for her ex. He got what he deserved and I'm long gone. :)

Your fault for dating a dick instead of a nice guy who actually deserves it. You girls always do this. There are plenty of suitable nice guys but you go for the jerks for some reason even you can't explain. Let him know you've got a funeral to attend too, the funeral for your relationship.
