I mean, it's not that you were serious. And for #2 who said it's creepy, it's honestly not, just a mistake. I usually reply with "hey love" when a female friend say hi to me, and when a male friend did, I slipped up & said the same thing. Sometimes your mind is just not in the right place/ you're not conscious of your reaction.

don't worry, it happens to the best of us. when i end a call with a client i have to consciously make sure i dont end it with "i love you" as i have so often been close to doing

I did this to my friend once. He had pulled me onto his lap and I quickly gave him a hug then kissed him on the neck. Was pretty embarrassing for both of us actually haha but now it's like whatever. I'm sure it's something you guys will laugh about later down the road.
