Together forever
Today, my roommate drew a giant red penis and scrotum on our refrigerator, using what he thought was a dry erase marker. It was a permanent marker. I just renewed my lease. I get to look at a red penis every day for the next year and a half. FML

Rubbing alcohol, or demand your roomie pay you to replace the fridge.

Trace over it with dry-erase marker, then rub it off. It works on cars; it'll work on your fridge. Although I think the real problem here might be your roommate.

Just any sort of organic solvent should work, though I wouldn't recommend anything you can only get at a chemistry supply store, as they're probably very dangerous. Whatever you use (methanol/wood alcohol, isopropanol/rubbing alcohol, acetone/nail polish remover), make sure you have plenty of ventilation and keep away from any ignition sources, such as a gas stove. Try not to breathe the fumes, wipe up the solvent and dissolved paint with paper towels (best to use rubber gloves), and rinse down the fridge with plenty of water. That should do it, though acetone might damage the finish on some surfaces. Just be careful.

My mom's friend is a doctor of theoretical chemistry and he gave us the idea to use perfume to get permanent marker off of anything. It works like magic.
