Today, while taking a shower, I noticed that I had forgotten to shave my pits. I went to a party last night, and there are now several Facebook pictures of me dancing, with my arms up and my hairy pits showing for the world to see. FML

Today, I decided to shave my legs completely to be more confident in my dress. I spent over an hour making sure my legs were perfectly shaved. It wasn't until I had been out awhile that I realized I forgot to shave my armpits. FML
Today, I put my hand up in class. I forgot that I hadn't shaved. FML
Today, I shaved my pubes while staying at my senile grandma's place. I guess I didn't clean up properly, because she found some hair and insisted someone must have broken in while we were out and used the shower. I had to play along to spare myself embarrassment. FML
Today, I finally noticed after months of having the same cover photo on several websites, that it looks like I have a bushel of armpit hair due to a shadow. FML
Today, I was shaving my underarms, when I heard a noise. I quickly turned my head to see what it was and got the razor caught in my hair. I'm now sporting a very attractive bald patch. FML
Today, I attempted to bleach my body hair so I wouldn't have to shave. A little while later, I realized that I'd also succeeded in bleaching my skin, which was incredibly noticeable. I'm hosting a pool party this weekend. FML
Today, I was hanging out with the guy I really like. I lifted my arms to put my hair in a ponytail when he noticed a hole that had apparently tore in the armpit of my shirt, so he put his finger through it. I haven't shaved in weeks. FML
Today, I realized that I hadn't shaved in so long that when the wind blew, the hairs on my legs moved in the breeze. FML
Today, I shaved my legs and pits for the first time this summer. It took 3 disposable razors and an hour to get the job done. I've clearly been single for far too long. FML
Today, I shaved off the beard I had been forced to grow over the past 3 weeks due to forgetting my razor when away. Fifteen minutes in, with half my beard gone, I realised I had got a tan everywhere but my beard. I now have a large white patch on my face. FML

Embarrassing, yes, but hairy pits at drunken parties posted on Facebook seem to be the new fad. Either that, or all the girls I went to school with are sleazy dirty ******. All levity aside, OP, it happens to the best of us sometimes. No big deal. I'm sure if you didn't look good in those pictures, they wouldn't have been put up anyway. If they bother you that much, ask the poster to take them down...or at least give you a chance to photoshop the shit out of them. =]

This post was originally written to #6. The commenting system of course is messed up. I know you're most likely not of the same religion as me, but that doesn't make this any less true; we're actually required by religion to shave our armpits and "down there" by both genders. Wait, I take that back. Not shave, but at least trimming to a short level. I believe it has to do with the fact that longer hair often leads to the sweaty stenches as well as cultivating bacteria. So it's a hygienic issue.

Going to have to disagree with you there, Ive made it to 21 (in 2 months) w/o disgusting armpit hair, or body hair at all for that matter. Some of us have evolved past the ice age and taken off the fur coats, thank you.

Sorry to tell you but, most of the times, the complete lack of body hair after puberty is caused by a hormonal imbalance. I am one of the lucky people who are "less hairy" by nature (I have my mom to thank for the great genes) but being 21 and having NO armpit hair (despite not using any hair removal technique) is just weird
