Today, I shaved my legs and pits for the first time this summer. It took 3 disposable razors and an hour to get the job done. I've clearly been single for far too long. FML

Today, I shaved my legs for the first time in three weeks. It took half an hour, three disposable razors, and I cut my legs up so badly they look worse then they did when they were hairy. FML
Today, I shaved my legs and armpits for the first time in 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't have a hot date, I just had my yearly gyno exam. FML
Today, I shaved my legs. It's been so long since I've shaved that my razor broke. FML
Today, I decided to shave my legs completely to be more confident in my dress. I spent over an hour making sure my legs were perfectly shaved. It wasn't until I had been out awhile that I realized I forgot to shave my armpits. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy I've had a crush on for a while. I shaved my legs and armpits and wore a short dress. It wasn't until I got to the meeting that I noticed I only shaved one of my legs. FML
Today, I tried shaving my bikini area for the first time. I ended up cutting myself several times. I now have impressive razor burn, and it's incredibly painful to even wear pants. FML
Today, I haven't shaved for so long the hair on my legs has split ends. FML
Today, I bought an expensive razor that's supposed to be great. My roommate asked if she could borrow it, and as her legs just looked like they needed touching up, I said sure. After a strangely long amount of time, she came back, thanked me and left. Her legs were still hairy. FML
Today, it finally clicked in my mind how desperately lonely I am, when I shaved one of my legs just to find out what a woman's leg feels like. FML
Today, I got in the shower, washed my hair and shaved because I wanted to look great for a big date. I got out, brushed and dried my hair and spent an hour putting it up in the perfect hairstyle. Running late, I quickly put on my new dress, looked down and realized i had only shaved one leg. FML

Well if you don't have one of those buzz cut razors to work it off with then get scissors out and trim it down. It will take a lot less time with the disposable razor if you do it that way first..and from now on you need to shave more often..because that's just disgusting!

BrilliantBeuty, you obviously aren't that "brilliant" if you think that not shaving equates to being unhygienic! Where in the FML does it say that the OP hasn't showered at all? Having hair or not having hair is a personal descion, just because you don't shave, diesnt mean that you don't practice good personal hygien. Personally, I feel better shaven, but some people feel better with hair, it's a personal choice.

Exactly, Spastic! Pits I can understand, because the hair might trap in odor and bacteria if you aren't used to paying special attention washing there, but legs? No kids, that's not dirty. If it was, guys would never be clean. I shave because I find it relaxing, but it is entirely a social convention. Doctors Without Borders doesn't hike into the Congo with clean water, vaccines, condoms and razors!

133 is totally right. honestly think about it, if you have deadly amounts of armpit hair you would stink unless you shampood and conditioned it everyday and used have a container of deoderant per pit, hair collects bacteria. your head won't get all gross because there isn't an arm over top of it blocking everything in. like your armpit is like enclosed hahahah. actually, my girlfriend doesn't shave her pits and she smells great...when she decided to shave them she ended up smelling like a raunchy homeless person..now she's fuzzy again and smells great!! :) Thus, removing body hair is cultural and having it doesn't make you stink more, go read a book or somethin..

164- you must switch them out fairly often then. it's actually not the razors themselves that creates dark patches, it's when they become dull, and disposables are made of lower quality materials and usually become dull faster. tater salad- can I at least touch it?
