Today, I told to my girlfriend of 5 years that I'm depressed about having no friends, no job and a difficult family life. I told her that she's the one constant that keeps me going. She decided this was a good time to break up with me to "find" herself, since I was being so mopey. FML
Today, my girlfriend had a complete breakdown. I was trying to calm her down and reassure her that she will accomplish all of her dreams. Her response: "Then why am I even with you?" FML
Today, my girlfriend's mom pulled me aside and started telling me about how her daughter was extremely depressed and suicidal before she met me, and how happy her family is because of me. I was planning on breaking up with her within the next week. FML
Today, I found out the hard way that my girlfriend lied about being on the pill four months ago. FML
Today, I was planning on breaking up with my girlfriend of five years in two days time. She just mailed me a care package that said, "I'd die without you." FML
Today, my girlfriend got drunk and started crying, begging me to never break up with her, only for her to say 10 minutes later, "I don’t wanna be with you anymore." Then she asked me if she could buy me some pot, and, "Let’s watch movies." FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because "we don't communicate enough". She got her friend to tell me this for her. FML
Today, my girlfriend called me and said she needs to take a break from our relationship. Why? Her really clingy ex is really depressed about her dating someone else and he isn't ready to accept it. So she wants to take a break "for his sake" until he's over her. FML
Today, the woman I love told me she cared about me and didn't like me hurting myself. She then posted a picture of herself making-out with her new boyfriend. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me, saying, "I'm not ready for a serious relationship." We're supposed to get married in a month. FML

Consider this Unpopular opinion: her girlfriend could be suffering from depression/anxiety, she could've had an episode recently where she wanted to commit suicide or harm herself but thought of op and realised there was more to live for. Maybe she felt comfortable enough around op to tell her and meant it as a "hey you've given me something to live for". And I'd have to think, did she immediately follow that up with not liking breakups to be manipulative or was it a whole other part of the conversation that's been taken out of context. If she felt comfortable enough to tell op that then that is a sign of a healthy relationship and op just being uncomfortable because they're not used to confrontation on a subject like that...

A friend of mine was in a relationship like that, where the guy threatened suicide, but he ended up breaking up with her and cheating on her. Honestly OP I would just get some of her friends involved to help her cope (if you plan to leave her soon) so they can keep her from doing anything stupid. I wish you the best of luck that I can.
