Today, I tore my ACL while doing physical therapy that's supposed to keep me from tearing my ACL. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Fake it til you make it
Today, I sprained an arm muscle while pretending to lift weights. FML
Today, as I was putting some dishes away, I spilled water on the floor. While walking around the dishwasher, I slipped on said water, and after going to urgent care, found out I tore my meniscus. FML
Today, I fractured my tibia, fibula, and tore a tendon in my ankle. How? You might ask. By stepping in a hole at soccer practice. Now I’ll be out for the entire season with months of rehab. FML
Today, I broke my leg while trying to show my friend how I broke my other leg. FML
Healthy life goals
Today, after a month and a half of recovering from a sprained ankle, I was back in the gym training. After a grueling, sweaty session on the treadmill, I tripped walking down the stairs which sprained my other ankle. Back to round one. FML
Today, I injured my knee at a Zumba class, a class I joined to lose weight so my knees wouldn't hurt so much. Now I can't even go for a leisurely walk. FML
Can I get a raincheck?
Today, I fell down my backyard steps at my own housewarming party, ended up breaking my ankle, and am now non-weight bearing for 10 weeks. I'm supposed to start a new job tomorrow, where I'm always on my feet. FML
Shelved plans
Today, after spending two hard months losing 20 pounds of my 80 pound goal, I was actually excited to exercise. After I was done exercising, I fell down the stairs and broke my ankle. FML
Today, I injured my knee during dance class. When it started to feel a little bit better, I tried dancing again. I tripped, fell, and broke my wrist. FML
Heavy load
Today, I was getting ready for work. When I stepped back, my ankle rolled and my fat ass landed on it with my foot sideways under me. Now I’m in a boot for 6 weeks and have 6 weeks of physical therapy ahead of me. FML

How do you even do that? What is an ACL?
ComoEsJuan 24
It's one of the ligaments in your knee that helps keep it stable.
kaitlin1234567 9
It's your anterior cruciate ligament. It's in your knee, and if you badly tear it, you could need surgery.

Overextension of your knee, usually

Its honestly not rare at all for it to happen. I know many athletes who have torn there ACL and got back out there and fully recovered but everyone is defiantly different. I went through physical therapy for a knee injury when I shouldn't have been in physical therapy because my knee was not answering well at all to it. Then again everyone is different and I wish op the best.

your acl is your anterior cruciate ligament it's in your knee. it keeps your tibia from moving anteriorly. you tear it by planting your foot and twisting your body inversely so the top part of your leg twists in. and it tears the acl

#6 No I don't think that's how life usually works. I don't know what's wrong with your hospital if you think this is normal
