Today, my girlfriend of a month told me that the only thing keeping her from swallowing a bottle of pills is being in a relationship with me, because she doesn't handle breakups well. FML

What are you 15? You say you love her after a month and then say you're falling for someone else? I think you need to figure things out...continuing a relationship like this is not healthy for anyone.

That's when you be a meaningful boyfriend and seek help for her. That is not healthy at all..its entrapment. I'm sorry OP.

OPs a female.

Oh crap.. I feel like an idiot now. /: I apologize..

That is an unfair burden to place on your shoulders. You should be in that relationship because it is where you want to be, not because of guilt. Sorry she feels like that. But I wouldn't stay on that reason alone. If you feel that you do love her talk it out.

She needs to see someone because that is not healthy. OP, I would suggest two things: a) maybe, gently talk to her and see if she's open to talk to someone and b) then, if that doesn't work, get out of a relationship like that. It is not healthy for anyone and this is from someone who knows two people in my family that have relationships that are just like this, one threatening suicide, the other threatening to take my cousins child away from him. People like this need help.

she could use the support, dude.

#15 she could use mental help.

Sucks to be you OP just saying

well thats just scary

It's ok. She'll get over whasisname leaving that band soon enough.

Maybe, but will she get over who 'A' is in PLL?

I don't agree with people just saying "RUN BRO!", because she needs help if she's that unstable. Have her talk to someone else, be it friends, family, or a counselor. I agree that you shouldn't stay with her forever, since that's not a healthy relationship, just don't be that hasty, if only to avoid the guilt of leaving her only for her to go through with that.

It might be instability but it's extremely unfair to OP. It's a huge manipulative thing and that isn't okay. If she will do this what else will she pull?

You should say "Run, girl." OP is female.

emotional blackmail is a bad way to start and keep a relationship. you need to seriously talk to her about it or walk away if you don't feel capable to take on that. either way, good luck.

Get some help ASAP.
