Today, my girlfriend of a month told me that the only thing keeping her from swallowing a bottle of pills is being in a relationship with me, because she doesn't handle breakups well. FML

Today, I told to my girlfriend of 5 years that I'm depressed about having no friends, no job and a difficult family life. I told her that she's the one constant that keeps me going. She decided this was a good time to break up with me to "find" herself, since I was being so mopey. FML
Today, my girlfriend had a complete breakdown. I was trying to calm her down and reassure her that she will accomplish all of her dreams. Her response: "Then why am I even with you?" FML
Today, my girlfriend's mom pulled me aside and started telling me about how her daughter was extremely depressed and suicidal before she met me, and how happy her family is because of me. I was planning on breaking up with her within the next week. FML
Today, I found out the hard way that my girlfriend lied about being on the pill four months ago. FML
Today, I was planning on breaking up with my girlfriend of five years in two days time. She just mailed me a care package that said, "I'd die without you." FML
Today, my girlfriend got drunk and started crying, begging me to never break up with her, only for her to say 10 minutes later, "I don’t wanna be with you anymore." Then she asked me if she could buy me some pot, and, "Let’s watch movies." FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because "we don't communicate enough". She got her friend to tell me this for her. FML
Today, my girlfriend called me and said she needs to take a break from our relationship. Why? Her really clingy ex is really depressed about her dating someone else and he isn't ready to accept it. So she wants to take a break "for his sake" until he's over her. FML
Today, the woman I love told me she cared about me and didn't like me hurting myself. She then posted a picture of herself making-out with her new boyfriend. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me, saying, "I'm not ready for a serious relationship." We're supposed to get married in a month. FML

What are you 15? You say you love her after a month and then say you're falling for someone else? I think you need to figure things out...continuing a relationship like this is not healthy for anyone.

You have my sympathy. It's up to you if you want to stick things out. If she kills herself, it's not your fault as long as you inform her family or friends of this issue.

Well if it comes down to the point where you are unhappy with her, make her break up with you. Start doing habits you know she doesn't like. Spare her the pain?

OP, it's an awful situation, but you should not feel pressured into staying with her because of this emotional blackmail. In fact, this is a HUGE warning sign. I think that you need to talk to somebody, someone in her family maybe, or one of her friends so that you aren't carrying this burden alone. And if you are genuinely concerned that she may actually make an attempt on her life, you should be able to call an ambulance and say that you think that she will commit suicide. I know that you can do that here in Australia, not sure about where you are, but I would imagine it's the same. My mum had a friend whose boyfriend threatened to kill themselves if she left him. So she left him. He did not try to kill himself, but even if he had, it wouldn't have been her fault. So sorry you have to go through this OP. Take care.
