Today, my girlfriend of over a year broke up with me. Two weeks ago she complained that I didn't act like I really loved her. I then became more involved and caring just for her to show my love. The reason she broke up with me? Because I was "suffocating her with clinginess." FML

Today, I dumped my girlfriend because she frequently wouldn't answer my texts or phone calls, and not call or message back for days. I felt that bringing it up made me a control freak. I couldn't take it anymore. FML
Today, my girlfriend of two months broke up with me because she said I remind her too much of her first boyfriend and it creeps her out. I've checked with all of her friends and family. I'm her first boyfriend. FML
Today, my clingy girlfriend refused to leave me alone long enough for me to read an article about dealing with clingy girlfriends. FML
Today, my girlfriend of three entire days broke up with me. She said it was because she needed to recover from her breakup, but that was nine months ago, and I haven't done a single thing wrong. FML
Today, I got a text message saying, "I'm sorry, I know it's our 4 month anniversary but it's not working out, I need to break up with you" followed by her complaining that I never call her as well. WTF? I haven't had a girlfriend for 6 months. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me and threw all my stuff out into the yard because she caught me "texting another woman". Guess it didn't matter to her that the contact name was "Mom". FML

Clearly she wanted an excuse to dump you. At the same time, 3 weeks? Im not so sure she enjoyed your company to begin with. Good Luck, OP, you'll find someone better.

Eh, she doesn't sound worth it at all. Hopefully there wasn't to much of an emotional attachment on your end, and you'll recover quickly. Plenty of fish in the sea OP and they aren't all crazy! :)

I smell a mean pile of bullshit, haha. On the other hand, you don't to worry about her anymore, since you barely seen her. And who knows, maybe she was already with someone and needed an excuse to leave. Take it with a grain of salt and move on, there are plenty of fish in the sea!
