Today, my fiancé's mom was driving me to the store to pick up my wedding dress. A few minutes into the drive, she said the car's tank was nearly out of "Jews" and that she'd have to give it "a whole lotta gas", then chuckled to herself. She's well aware that I'm Jewish. FML

Well that's ******* rude. And a terrible way to start an important day.

Why would concentration camps gas a nearly empty chamber? Her incredibly stupid joke doesn't even make sense.

Just smile and tell her to stop being a sour kraut for losing the war.

I am jewish. from the looks of it it seems obvious that you are jewish and your fiancee is not. from the few comments of you future mil it is obvious that your fiancee was raised in a home where jews were respected as elders of zion and bankers that control the world. good luck if I were you I'd run

Simple. She is just trying to get rid of you. Watch the movie Monster-in-Law (2005), you will have some idea of what to expect and what to do.

I feel bad now because I laughed at that joke.

It's possible she said 'juice' instead of 'jews' and her car did indeed need a whole lotta gas. If it was just a one time thing, it's possible it was an honest mistake. But that scenario becomes less and less likely if she's acted this way on previous occasions.
