Same thing different taste
That was quick

Told you so
Today, my wife is leaving me for the guy she told me not to worry about, who is also her ex. FML
A good excuse
Today, my ex-girlfriend, who broke up with me because God said she couldn't have a boyfriend, started dating my friend... Who she always told me she didn't even like. FML
Overlap
Today, I saw my ex-girlfriend for the first time in two years with the guy she told me "not to worry about" and they were celebrating their 3-year anniversary together. FML
Nothing but red flags
Today, my ex of 5 years began dating the girl he told me was, “One of the guys”, “Don’t worry, she’s like a sister to me” and, “I would never see her that way.” We broke up a couple of days ago because my “paranoia” and “assumptions” about her were putting a “strain” on our relationship. FML
Friends?
Today, I found out that the girl my boyfriend says is "just a good old friend" is actually an "ex that got away." FML
Today, I found out that my ex-girlfriend, the girl I completely love, is now dating my father. She tried giving me the, "I know I'm not your mother…" speech. FML
Small world, huh?

Today, my best friend decided to start dating my ex. We broke up yesterday. She also thinks I'm crazy because I'm upset about it. FML

makes you wonder what she was up to while you guys were dating.

Unless she started dating him immediately after you two broke up, it's not really any of your business. You're not with each other anymore and are both allowed to date whomever you want. If the timing isn't suspicious, there's no reason for you to assume that there was anything going on while you were dating.

So what. You're not with her any more.

You are dumb#1. He feels betrayed. She probably set up the next relationship while with OP and lied saying not to be worried about this guy. Although, OP should just burn off the emotional pain by moving on and not thinking about his X as relevant.

#1 isn't dumb, he's right. They've broken up therefore it was obvious it wasn't working out with them. We don't know details, for all know OP could've dumped her. We just don't know. OPs ex can date whoever she wants. She's not doing anything wrong.

The point, as usual, is lost on the grammar nazi. I don't know the context here, but as long as your girlfriend is loyal to you, you really don't need to worry whether she likes a guy or not. When you break up, she owes you nothing anymore and can date whoever she likes. Still FYL OP.

Why is that dumb? He doesn't own her, and she can date whomever she likes. For all you know, OP wasn't the best boyfriend in the world and she found better common interests in the guy she's now dating. Let's all move on with our lives, shall we?!

There's an old saying. "If a girl wants to dump you there's a 9 outta 10 chance she's already saddling a new pony." Might suck but that's how it works. She found someone better for her all you can do is move on.

Hamsters are Satan's pet. ~Old cherokee proverb. And just as reasonable as assuming 90% of girls cheat on a guy before dumping him.

I didn't say riding I said saddling.

no... it just shows op he's better off now. when you break up with someone you dont continue dwelling on what the relationship use to be...but rather who you can become.

Is there a chance she's only doing it to try and get you jealous?

If she was in OP's position. I wouldn't take her back. Honesty and communication is what I value. If someone wants to play games like that, I'll show them the door and lock it too.

I've seen this scenario happen to a number of people. You're better off op, she's obviously someone who can't be trusted.

At least she's your EX and you found out when she was your EX than when she's not your EX, you saved yourself from another heartbreak!

I agree. It may be ironic, but there's no reason to call her names, as a lot of people here are doing.

I totally agree. I was in a similar situation a few years ago; my boyfriend at the time was extremely insecure and perceived pretty much all of my guy friends as a "threat". Fast forward five months later and yes, I did start dating someone he was once worried about. No, during my relationship I wasn't attracted to him at all, but I got to know him in a different way (we're still together, 3 years later). Every story is different and feelings do change, believe it or not.

I agree. I bet he wasn't anyone to be worried about at the time because she was in a committed relationship with Op and wasn't looking to go anywhere else. Once they broke up she probably started seeing this other guy in a new light which led to them dating. I don't think she's in the wrong at all. I wouldn't worry about it Op, time to move on.

Lying little bitch.

Calm down, you don't know the whole story. Note the fact that OP stated his "ex" is "now dating" that guy. She never cheated on him, she just moved on.

its more like the fact she said she wasnt interested in him but when they broke up she went to him maybe it was just a coincidence but from my experience she was talking to that guy the whole time they were dating

50/50 that means you should worry. But your probably better off anyway. Try to cheer up, its halloween! :)

From my experience the guy that girls say don't worry about are normally the ones to worry about. sorry you have to deal with that OP.
