Today, my dog was barking at a squirrel in the yard. I opened the door to let him chase the squirrel. I went to look at the dead squirrel and found out it was the neighbor's chihuahua. FML

Today, I found my cat downstairs with a squirrel dangling from his mouth. When I saw this, I yelled at my cat to put it down. He did. Turns out the squirrel was still alive and run. I had to spend the next three hours chasing it out of my house. FML
Today, I found out that when you chase a couple of squirrels off your porch for irritating your dogs, sometimes they chase you back. FML
Today, I was having a conversation with a friend at the park when my dog ran up to me with something in his mouth. I thought it was a stick. I bent down to take it, only to realize it was a dead squirrel. My dog just stared at me, tongue lolling, like, “It’s a stick, throw it.” FML
Today, I was walking down a path in the woods behind my house when I saw a squirrel. It ran away, but little did I know it wasn't running from me, it was running from the dog that had forced Animal Control to sweep the area. I ended up with stitches in my leg. FML
Today, I was walking my dog around my neighborhood, when I saw this really cute boy. My dog then saw a squirrel and dragged me through mud. FML
Today, I came home to find a note on my door from the neighbor saying, "I saw a coyote eat your dog, but was afraid it was rabid." FML
Today, my dog proudly brought home a rabbit he'd killed. The same rabbit that belongs to my neighbor's daughter. FML
Today, I went to let my dog inside because she was barking. I saw my neighbour standing at my fence, screaming that she was going to kill my dog with a shovel for barking at her. My dog was only doing it because my neighbor was putting her trash in my garbage bin. This isn't a new thing. FML
Today, I was screaming at my neighbor to shut his dog up. After 30 minutes of bellowing, he yelled back that it was my dog that was barking. He was right. FML
Today, I looked out the window just in time to see a coyote carrying off my cat that I had just let outside five minutes before. FML

Well thats what they get for having a dog that can easily be mistaken for a rodent. I hate people with those tiny dogs. WTF is wrong with having a real dog that you can actually be proud to call a dog?

If my neighbor's dog (some kind of pug mix) ever got into my yard, my dog would probably kill it too. It is always harassing my dog even though mine is bigger. Maybe OP's dog was often provoked by the chi.

You went out to look at the dead squirrel?? What kind of person are you that you would let your dog out to chase even a squirrel? You obviously have no respect for life and to be honest I bet you have no qualms with abortion either. Most people even if they're pro-choice it would still be a big decision for them but I doubt it would be for you. You deserve what the chihuahua got instead. Then after you've been chewed on by a dog much larger than yourself decide if you would let yours out to chase after a squirrel again. Jerk.

wow, I can't believe people are arguing that an insect is on the same level as a dog or cat. No, not all living things are equal. Sorry, but I place a human life above a dog, and a dog over a fly. common sense, people. but it was a dumb move to let the dog out in the first place, even if it had been a squirrel the dog was obviously wound up and should have been kept inside.

Why was the chihuahua in the OP's yard? Because it's owner probably sent it there to shit and piss on someone else's property. No loss, in my opinion. They are horrible, yappy little assholes who shit and piss everywhere but where they should. I laughed out loud when I read this one.
