Yeah, but masturbating and therefore ignoring your partner's sexual needs isn't part of a (good) relationship either. Sex is not everything, but it is a lot. I can understand that people sometimes prefer masturbation above real sex, but it is incredibly disrespectful to keep doing it (in the same friggin' bed) if your partner made it clear that she/he doesn't like it.
