Today, in front of my family, my brother's wife announced that she was pregnant with their first child. Everyone joked around and said I was next. Two weeks ago I found out that I'm sterile. FML

Today, I found out that my kids are both my half-brothers, and the fertility tests my wife had us do a few years ago showed that I'm sterile. She didn't tell me until I found the test results in her desk and asked her about it. FML
Today, I announced my first pregnancy to my family. Not to be outdone, my sister immediately announced that she "might" be getting pregnant soon. My family ended up congratulating her instead, and asked me if I would plan the baby shower. FML
Today, I learned I’m shooting blanks and can’t have children. My wife’s response was that her brother can be our sperm donor. She has no issue with this. FML
Today, I found out that I'm going to be a father. Too bad I can't tell my wife. FML
Today, I proposed to my girlfriend of four years. She took the opportunity to tell me that she's pregnant. With my half-brother. FML
Today, my sister announced her pregnancy at my husband's funeral. FML
Today, I found out my brother doesn't have a problem with "keeping it in the family". It's now up to me to explain why our cousin is pregnant with his kid. FML
Today, I'm 6 months pregnant with my first child and excited. My brother and his girlfriend announced they're getting married… on my due date. They refuse to change the date. FML
Today, over a family dinner, my husband and I told everyone that I'm pregnant. My father frowned and said, "Again?", my 9-year-old daughter started crying, and her brother smirked and yelled, "Up the ass, no babies!" FML
Today, my siblings came home for the weekend. At dinner, my dad started complaining at how one of my siblings had gotten fired, one was failing college, and the other was gay. He went on to say I was 17 and already had a bright future. I'm pregnant. FML

we all thought my sister was sterile and she is pregnant now so there is hope for you OP. sometimes the doctors are wrong.

im sorry to hear this. but your value as a female, a human, and a wife has nothing to do with your ability to carry children. We aren't in the dark ages anymore for goodness sake! You can still be a parent if that is what you want. Adopt a child who needs parents, it's more responsible and open-hearted than just popping out your own.

I believe that adopting is a great choice.there are already around 7 billion people on earth,and if people had kids instead of adopted,that number would rise,so adopting is a great choice

If you didn't tell your family, then you don't get to be upset about this. If you did tell your family and they're being douchey anyway, then your life does suck. No matter what, don't make your sister in law feel bad about being pregnant. She gets to be happy.

#152 Sammara is a total idiot. Of course she gets to be upset. The fact that she found oyt shes sterile and the family is celebrating her sister in laws pregnancy just makes it that much more painful. dont lose hope ppl who arent supposed to be able to conceive do sometimes. lonely kids need u too!

aww ! i wish i could say that I understand how you feel, but no one could unless that person is in your situation. I hope you find happiness in another form... maybe you should consider adoption :)

Unless the OP doesn't want kids. It depends on perspective. Want kids: very sad, don't want kids: great news. I do not want offspring.
