Today, I tried demonstrate to my little brother that, unlike what he sees in cartoons, it is impossible to slip on a banana peel. I'm not too sure he's convinced. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I discovered that you can't always assume your little brother is kidding when he says that you have a spider on top of your head. FML
Cocobananas
Today, I found a banana peel on the clean floor. My 4-year-old son said that he was playing Spider-Man and trying to slip. I picked it up and while walking to the kitchen garbage can, slipped on the actual banana. I slid across the kitchen floor, fell, and bruised my tailbone. He laughed. FML
Today, my brother tried to ninja-kick his dirty underwear up into his hand. He failed and it landed on my face. FML
Today, I actually slipped on a banana peel, cartoon-style, breaking my kneecap and dislocating my hip. I will never hear the end of this. FML
Meme life
Today, I tripped on an actual banana peel and fell over in front of my crush. I'm pretty sure that's the closest I'll ever come to being a meme. FML
Today, I learned the hard way that your little brother is not joking when he threatens to shave your eyebrows if you don't let him watch cartoons. FML
Today, my brother and I had a long argument. He believes wholeheartedly that pineapples are not actually fruits, but berries. When I showed him a google search, he accused me of "faking" it. FML
Please explain
Today, I had to explain to my little brother that my pads were not in fact "big band-aids" and that he should probably remove them from his legs. FML
Iron Man
Today, my little brother punched me in the stomach. When I didn't flinch and he asked me why, I thought it would be funny to tell him I was Iron Man and that nothing could hurt me. Two seconds later, he took a step back and kicked me in the nuts as hard as he could. FML
Today, I was showing my 6-year-old son how easy and safe it is to ride a bike. I didn't notice a pebble, bust up my leg, and my son is now terrified of bicycles. FML

I didn't believe it when I was younger either. So I took matters into my own hands and conveniently placed one in the school courtyard..and a kid proceeded to slip on it. It's real, hahah.

Don't doubt it! I live in Toronto, and I was walking down the street talking to my friend, and I actually slipped on one... hahah

Exactly. Whether it's true or not, just let the kid be a kid! You only get one chance.

Where do you think the Idea came from?

It's not impossible. Just that, the chances aren't as high as in cartoons which has a 100% chance of slipping on a banana peel.

Yes they are slippery but you don't spin around like you do on Mario Kart... That would be hilarious to watch though.

You actually can slip on a banana peel. I work at an after school program and they had bananas for snack and a kid slipped on one
