Today, my brother and I had a long argument. He believes wholeheartedly that pineapples are not actually fruits, but berries. When I showed him a google search, he accused me of "faking" it. FML

Today, I tried demonstrate to my little brother that, unlike what he sees in cartoons, it is impossible to slip on a banana peel. I'm not too sure he's convinced. FML

Today, I had to explain to my friend that a blue raspberry is not a blackberry, and that blue raspberry is an artificial flavor, not a fruit. This explanation took much longer than it should have. FML
Today, my husband argued with me for an hour, because he believed that loaded potato skins grow naturally on a tree. FML
Today, my 24-year-old brother tried to convince me that Hogwarts is real, because there is no way a person could have written that based on imagination. My parents agreed with him. FML
Today, I discovered that you can't always assume your little brother is kidding when he says that you have a spider on top of your head. FML
Today, my brother and I got in a fight and he told my friends that I am mentally disabled. They believed him. Apparently, "everything makes sense now." FML
Today, without even trying, I convinced my 17-year-old daughter that blueberries are just peas holding their breath. I have raised a complete airhead. FML
Today, my brother decided to help me artificially age some of my artwork by singeing the edges slightly. Apparently "my brother set fire to my homework" isn't a valid excuse. FML

A pineapple is not a fruit, but a mass of berries attached to a stalk. So while it is not a single berry, he is technically right.

Tomatoes are fruits that are vegetables. Fruit is a biological category and vegetable is a culinary category. The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

A berry is a fleshy fruit with one or more seeds on the inside. So this includes bananas, watermelons, blueberries, peaches... But NOT strawberries or raspberries lol

Thank you fireballftw1123, people don't seem to believe it when I tell them. A pineapple isn't a berry but it is made up of berries. That's why there are little round things on the outside of it.
