Today, I spent nearly half an hour clearing several inches of snow off my car. After almost suffering from hypothermia, I finished. Except the car keys were missing from my pocket, presumably buried under a foot of snow. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my car got stuck in a foot of snow. I tried desperately digging around my wheels to see if it would help. I was finally able to get out 10 minutes later only to realize that I had dropped my phone in the snow while I was digging and had run over it. FML
Today, I looked outside and I saw that my new car had been snowed on. Sadly the snow had frozen onto the car, so I spent the entire day getting it off. I came inside. By 8pm, my car had snow all over it again, and this time I left the window open. FML
Snow day confusion
Today, I went to shovel the massive amount of snow that was on our car. After spending time in the cold wind, I finally finished, realizing it wasn't my car. It was an identical car. FML
Today, I spent an hour in a snowstorm waiting for my bus to show up. After I got fed up, I decided to just clean off my car and drive to work. After I was halfway finished swiping off the snow and ice stuck to my car, the bus drove right past me. FML
Today, I got stuck in the snow in the middle of street. As I was just beginning to get myself unstuck, the snow plow came by and buried the front end of my car. FML
Today, I bundled up to shovel my car out of almost 2 feet of snow, only to find my car was gone. I ran into the nearby police station to report my stolen car. The policeman trudged down with me to get a report. I had parked my car on the other side of the street. FML
Today, the company that was supposed to clear our apartment's parking lot never showed up. I almost got frostbite in my fingers trying to shovel someone's car out since my gloves got soaking wet. FML
Today, I was driving on roads that were bad from two days of snow. I spun my car out, and ended up half-way in a ditch. Thinking that I could push my car out of the snow, I got out of my car, landing in waist deep snow. When trying to get back in, I fell neck deep into snow. FML
Today, I stepped out of my car and slipped on a fresh coating of ice on the ground. I tried to catch myself by grabbing the car on my way down, but unfortunately, I was trying to grab with the hand that was holding my car keys. I key-scratched my own car. FML
Today, my city got almost a foot of snow. When I went out to my car, it was covered in snow with a layer of ice underneath. I went to open the trunk to get the window scraper, when the snow that had collected on the top of my back window slid into my trunk. My laptop was the recipient of most of the snow. FML

I think she means on the snow around the car to find the keys.

Go inside and wait until spring. Or, move to Florida. If you can get hypothermia while doing vigorous physical activity, you have no idea how to dress for cold weather and are a menace to yourself.

I only have one key to my car left. the first one was in my purse when it got stolen, the second was mysteriously lost by my asshat ex boyfriend, and I'm now left with only a valet key. shit happens.

You must be stuck in the Midwest also. Glad I have a remote starter!

you could use a giant magnet
mrlopez 13
The electromagnetic power it needs probably would make it fly smack onto your car before it could ever find your keys

#22, you can always move the car before using the giant magnet

Not if you don't have the keys.

You move the car telepathically... You don't need keys if you do it like that.

Either you have a 20 foot long car or you suck at shoveling if it took you that long.

boil some water and pour it on the snow where you think the keys are? idk. we dont have problems like that in Bama.

the real question here is what took you so long to clean your car off?

This is one of the many reasons I live in Florida.

Yeah, also cause your baseball team sucks, you have a good football team, and am outstanding basketball team. Yeah, life's good for you.

You deserved it for not starting your car first and for taking half of an hour to clean the snow off.

Pour hot water on the snow around the car.
