Today, I bundled up to shovel my car out of almost 2 feet of snow, only to find my car was gone. I ran into the nearby police station to report my stolen car. The policeman trudged down with me to get a report. I had parked my car on the other side of the street. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my car was stolen from my driveway. I reported it to the police, the insurance company, and my neighbors, and begged for help via social media. As I walked to catch a bus, I saw my car parked outside my school. I forgot I left it there last night. FML
Today, I borrowed a roommate's car to get groceries. I came out to find the car stolen. I called the cops, and the responding officer took the info and drove me home to give the roomie the bad news in person. 15 minutes later, they found the car. I'd parked it on the opposite side of the lot. FML
Today, I spent nearly half an hour clearing several inches of snow off my car. After almost suffering from hypothermia, I finished. Except the car keys were missing from my pocket, presumably buried under a foot of snow. FML
Today, my boss reported to the police that a suspicious car has been parked outside the store late at night. I walked outside and my car was gone. He had my car towed. FML
Today, I got stuck in the snow in the middle of street. As I was just beginning to get myself unstuck, the snow plow came by and buried the front end of my car. FML
Women be shopping
Today, I couldn't find my car in a mall parking lot. After 30 minutes of searching, I reported it stolen to the mall security. It turns out that I'd parked it on the opposite side of the mall. Security escorted me to my car, all while giving me pitiful looks. FML
Pile up
Today, I got into an accident. As I was talking to a police officer about what happened, the tow truck driver managed to take my car and drive away, leaving me with no phone or wallet. I just spent an hour walking home in a hail storm. FML
Where is my mind?
Today, I finished my shopping at Costco, and realized I'd forgotten where I had parked. After scouring the parking lot for 20 minutes, I called the police and filed a report for a stolen vehicle. I then remembered I had bought a new car yesterday and parked it right next to the entrance. FML
Snow day confusion
Today, I went to shovel the massive amount of snow that was on our car. After spending time in the cold wind, I finally finished, realizing it wasn't my car. It was an identical car. FML
Classic case of the Mondays
Today, I took the bus after work. When I got to the remote parking lot, I realized my car had been stolen so I called the police to report it. When they came to take a statement and asked me when was the last time I saw my car was, I replied, “This morning, when I drove it to wo… Oh.” FML

oh stfu, we're not used to all this ******* snow and some of us actually had to drive to work during the blizzard. Also, not all of us live in apartments, where a snow plow has to come and help clean up the snow... some of us had to clear put loooooong driveways at 5 in the morning to get to work at 7:30am. /rant Can you tell I'm still bitter? :D
Starfire22 5
I'll remember that for the next snowfall ;D

Starfire is right. You really do need to STFU. I moved to an east coast city from MI and I didn't see how it was such a big deal either. But the big problem is that there's nowhere to put the snow. Not to mention we got two huge storms in less than a week, something that most east coast cities aren't used to. Also, the snow keeps melting and refreezing, making a thick sheet of ice on just about every side road around here. So until your sorry ass has to live here, be quiet. It really is a big deal.

ya know, I'm not going to rag on you for the snow, because I live in Colorado, and HATE the snow. However, did you NOT think to possibly look around the lot a little before calling the cops? Way to overreact.

That was smart.

Not so easy when nearly all the cars on the streets are just unidentifiable piles of snow, and it says he's Jersey - probably first time he's even tried to find his car since the snow hit. Two blizzards in a weeks time really messes with this region - we're not used to it, nor are we equipped to deal with it the way regions that get that amount of snow normally.

a "bunny" from new jersey leads me to think the op is a blonde. and of course, blonde females are a bit, well, slower than the rest of us. you can call me stereotypical, but just read the post and tell me I'm wrong (not in reality, of course).
queenofbavaria 0
you're obviously slower than the rest of us if you honestly believe that.
