Today, it's our ten-year anniversary, and I thought finally we would break our 10-month dry spell with some action. My husband had dozed off and was snoring even before I could reach the bed after finishing my chores. So much for happily ever after… FML
Today, it's been 3 years since my wife told me we should take a break from sex. We haven't touched each other since. FML
Today, it's my 2-year wedding anniversary. It also marks 2 years since my wife told me, "We're married now we don't need to have sex anymore." FML

Is she somewhere on the ace spectrum? Maybe she didn't mind waiting because she doesn't care about sex? Definitely something that should have come up pre-marriage though, because sexual compatibility is super important in a relationship. Definitely sit down with her and use your words though, and if you need to, Crowned Sataness is correct, have the marriage annulled. You both need to be on the same page going forward and if sex is something you want/need and she doesn't, I don't see a future between you.

it's almost like people have different values and they don't have to act in a way you understand. a good chunk of the largest religions in the world forbid pre marital sex, plus some purple cute sex as a very personal act, there are plenty of reasons to abstain

You're right on most accounts, but... Healthy relationships tend to have semi active sex lives involved. This woman doesn't show desire for the dude and it hurts. Plus, 10 months and only one time to consummate the marriage? That's shitty from my point of view

How do you live a year sexless? I can't even do that single! If you feel trapped there is help. If it's about kids. You're doing more damage than good staying together.
