Today, I slipped on a plastic bag that my mom, the hoarder, was keeping on the stairs. I fell and sprained my ankle, getting rug burn in the process. Her response? Getting mad at me, putting the bag back on the stairs, then getting another to add to the pile. FML

Legend
Today, I tripped really hard and twisted my ankle on a toy that was on the floor, dropping a bag of trash filled with coffee and energy drinks my husband has piled around his desk. Instead of helping me up or helping me clean, he berated me about it. Told me that it's not my problem and went to his LoL game. FML
Unbelievable
Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML
Today, my mom told me to take out the trash. I thought it would be a good idea to Hulk-smash it into the can. I missed. The bag ripped and garbage flew everywhere. FML
Today, I slipped walking down the stairs. My mom thought I sprained my right ankle. In her haste to get me to the doctor, she grabbed me and accidentally tripped me. I broke my left ankle. The right one was fine. FML
Today, I fell down the stairs while holding some dirty glasses from my room. I ended up pulling pieces of glass from my body. Meanwhile all my mom cares about is the fact that I broke three of her favorite glasses. FML
Today, my mom yelled at me for going through her closet for some warmer clothes. She had a rant about taking her clothes without her permission, all while wearing a pair of my boots and one of my sweaters. FML
Slipping up
Today, I slipped and sprained my ankle while shopping for a present for my husband, who later came home and tripped over my elevated leg, hurting my ankle again. Now I have an excruciating sprain, and a spouse who's furious at me because, I "shouldn't have tried to surprise him." FML
Today, I had to get stitches on my foot and was then forced to wear a plastic bag on my foot while showering. The plastic bag made me slip in the shower and had to go back and get stitches in my forehead. FML
Today, I slipped on the ice in front of my apartment, spraining my ankle and cracking a rib. While I laid on the ground immediately after, my neighbor chewed me out for saying "shit" in front of her 4-year-old on my way down. FML
Today, I was home alone in my apartment. I tripped over my dresser and fell and sprained my ankle. As I was laying there in agonizing pain, my downstairs neighbor shouted at me to shut up. FML

Get her on TV. That's what everyone else does these days when they have a problem.

That has got to suck. People like the OP's mother doesn't need children in a household like that.

How do you slip on a plastic bag? Usually when I go down stairs I'm atleast slightly paying attention enough to know if I'm going to step on things, hence why (s)he slipped.. BECAUSE, (s)he wasn't paying attention because they were texting. :D

Uhh, I'm a dumbass I didn't even put that reply under the right comment. -__- FML.

I put my comment under yours... But it ended up going under the wrong one near the top :(

Let's just agree to disagree? Neither of us can prove we're right, haha. (Even though I'm pretty sure I am.) (:

NEEEVEERRR! I make more sense then you and your texting theory. I now declare myself more sensible with my trying to avoid other objects theory. :o) BUT, I guess we both can be right. The OP was texting AND trying to avoid objects. Lmao.

Mkay then, it's settled, I'm 70% right, and your 20% right with a 10% grey area. ((:

My mom does that too. She collects all the bags we get from stores and stuffs them into a drawer.

that's more normal than on the stairs though.

A lot of people do that actually, just in case they need the bags to carry stuff around in. My grandma does it and let me say, it comes in handy.

My mom takes all the plastic bags from the plastic bag recycling bins at the exit/ entrance of a store... She uses them as trash bags.

It's funny that you're so quick to judge someone over 1 post. You must have a complex, and intelligent mind.
asherah14 7
You're an idiotic asshole man. How the **** can you say OP is a baby for falling on his/her mom's hoarded trash? It's an accident that wouldn't have happened if the Mom had help learning to reverse the hoarding thought process. It's people like you (cold, heartless, ignorant) that ruin this world.

I'd start collecting diapers that are used but they have to stay in her room because they stink too bad in yours

Hmmm and what might that be?....as if I don't know!(: Lol
